Heart Attack

A startling revelation – over 17 million people die from heart disease every year, making it the #1 cause of death worldwide. A huge number of those deaths occur by heart attack, which occurs when blood circulation to the heart is interrupted, causing damage to the heart muscle (the medical term is coronary thrombosis). Even if the patient survives the initial attack, the rate of recurrence is disturbingly high.
While there are a few hallmark symptoms of heart disease, the warning signs for a heart attack vary depending on age, gender and lifestyle. Unfortunately conventional medicine focuses on alleviating the symptoms while ignoring approaches that address the root cause of heart disease, and so would enhance the patient’s odds of enjoying a long and full life.
Effective treatment begins with understanding the underlying factors that lead to a heart attack. The heart requires oxygen to survive and thrive. If deprived of oxygen, the heart muscles ultimately weaken and cease to function as they should. This most often occurs when blood flow to the heart is shut off because of an issue within the coronary arteries. As plaque builds up within the arteries, they narrow until they can no longer get sufficient blood to the heart. This is coronary heart disease.
So the question that needs to be asked is what is responsible for these arterial issues, what exactly causes such narrowing…Conventional medicine almost always identifies the culprit as cholesterol. Unfortunately the link between cholesterol and heart attack is very controversial, if it exists at all. And conventional treatments to lower cholesterol are woefully lacking in that they do not address the basic issues that create the risk of suffering a heart attack. Biological medicine is more effective because it takes into consideration all factors tied to the narrowing of coronary arteries, not just cholesterol.
Very often the patients who come to us present with stents. A stent is inserted into a clogged artery in an effort to keep it open. The problem we see in terms of stenting and even bypass procedures is with the recurrence rates. Those people who do come to us have generally had unsuccessful results even after stenting. Our goal is thus to present a different way to treat heart disease and remove the need for any further procedures of this nature.
Happily our success rate when treating heart attack patients is near 95%. This is large part due to the fact that our approach is based upon identifying all of the issues responsible for arterial narrowing; this includes: malnutrition, over-proteinization, an excess of sugar in the diet, along with high toxicity levels. We have also found ways to increase the oxygen uptake into the heart cell muscles, as of course lack of oxygen is what ultimately occurs in a heart attack. The recovery process is a long term one, as the course of treatment can last from one to two years, but with tremendous results.
The people that come to Paracelsus suffering from coronary heart disease embark on an individualized treatment plan that not only makes their heart stronger but enables them to experience all-around healthier and more active lives than they’d previously enjoyed. By addressing the root causes, biologic medicine is far more effective at curing the problem rather than just masking its symptoms.
